A precast civic building given a transparent front door — a two‑story glass entry tower and storefront.

The University City Division station gives the Charlotte‑Mecklenburg Police Department a new home in northeast Charlotte. A‑1 Glass & Aluminum delivered the exterior glazing: a two‑story curtainwall entry tower with a projecting canopy and sunshades, ribbon storefront along the ground floor, and punched window openings set into the precast facade.

The project was featured in the August issue of Door Safety & Security Magazine. Detailed project copy is being confirmed with A‑1.
