The eight-story upscale mixed-use community, also located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, required A-1’s expert knowledge and experience. The 304-unit property includes a 5,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge, two-level fitness center with OBE ICR-225 ribbon windows, three ground-floor retail spaces totaling 11,560-square-feet requiring OBE storefronts. The system performance (glass, storefront/ribbon windows) had to meet specific requirements to limit sound transmission.

Additional project details:

• OBE ICR-225 ribbon windows, FG-2000 storefront and medium stile doors all finished in dark bronze anodized
• 1” thick clear IGU’s with Guardian SN54 coating
• Decorative louvers finished in a custom dark bronze paint
• Tremco Spectrem 1 sealant provided by Coastal Construction Products
• Frameless all glass shower doors & sidelites with hardware in brushed nickel finish
